Center of Southwest Studies at FLC

A central gateway where people can learn the unique nature of the American Southwest through the understanding of its people and their dynamic relationship to the landscape. Current exhibits: Spirit Lines: Helen Hardin Etchings, 23 copperplate etchings spanning Hardin’s work from 1980-1984; Treasures of the Southwest, a selection of textiles from The Durango Collection ®, which represents 800 years of weaving in the Southwest; Ben Nighthorse Campbell: Colorado’s Renaissance Man, furniture and memorabilia from his U.S. Senate office.
