A unique history of the Ute people. The central space welcome gallery, designed as a giant wickiup, is a gathering place and home to the museum’s Eagle Donor Wall with spectacular Circle of Life window and four compass points marked on the floor in inset stone. New exhibit, Riders of the West: Portraits from Indian Rodeo, photographs by Linda MacCannell and text by Peter Iveerson, on display Feb. 23, 2018, through February 2019. Open daily with free admission.
