Weathertop Wovens

Working weaving studio produces fine handwoven (in the shop) clothing from natural fibers from colorfast 100-percent-cotton thread. A unique learning experience and featured by Rand McNally as “Best of the Road” and Frommers as “our favorite shop in Silverton.” A destination since 2001. Jackets, shawls, scarves and ruanas (a sort of Irish poncho), woven in the shop by hand.

Set on a mountaintop overlooking town, The Double R Ranch offers diverse packages for destination weddings, yoga retreats, company off-sites, and exclusive hunting. Events are centered around a group of buildings overlooking the property’s upper pasture. Cookhouse with full commercial kitchen; utility cabin with restrooms, food prep and utilities; three-bedroom log cabin (the bunkhouse); and an oversized pavilion tent. A short distance away are two yurts for bridal party preparations and retreats, a bathhouse, and a barn with space for gatherings. In all, there are eight structures on the property. A main lodge is planned in the near future.
